"Book Buddies" Bookmarks & Zipper-Pulls
Some call them Book Marks, others call them Book Thongs...
but I call them "Book Buddies" named after a wonderful program at La Honda Elementary School,
where each child from the older grades (3rd/4th/5th) is paired with a child in the kindergarten or first grade classes.
Every week they get together and read to their younger Book Buddy during school hours.
A beautiful bond is created between the younger child and the older one, which stimulates fond,
lasting memories and a joy for reading for all ages!
